«Birdman» y «El Gran Hotel Budapest» encabezan las nominaciones al Oscar 2015. Todos las ternas

"Birdman", del cineasta mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu y "El gran hotel Budapest" (The Grand Hotel Budapest), de Wes Anderson, encabezan la lista de nominaciones con nueve cada una, que fue dada a conocer la mañana de este jueves. Detrás de las dos favoritas, figuran "The Imitation Game", con ocho y "Boyhood" y "American Sniper" (El francotirador), con seis. La edición 87 de esta gala se celebrará el próximo 22 de febrero y será conducida por Neil Patrick Harris.
"Birdman" buscará la codiciada estatuilla en las categorías de mejor película, director, actor, actor de reparto, actriz de reparto, mexcla de sonido y guión original, además de fotografía y edición de sonido, donde participan los mexicanos Emmanuel Lubezki y Martín Hernández, respectivamente. Lubezki, ganador el año pasado en esta misma categoría por "Gravity" de Alfonso Cuarón, pinta como favorito en la que representa su sexta nominación al premio de la Academia de Hollywood. El cortometraje mexicano "La Parka" de Gabriel Serra Arguello y producido por el Centro de Capacitación CInematográfica, también fue postulado en su respectiva terna.
También fueron nominados los mexicanos Emmanuel Lubezki y Martín Hernández por fotografía y edición de sonido, respectivamente
Mientras tanto, la argentina "Relatos salvajes", coproducida con España y dirigida por Damián Szifrón, está entre los cinco nominados a mejor película de habla no extranjera, luego de su exitoso recorrido tras convertirse en la película argentina más vista de la historia de su país.
La competencia para mejor actor estará entre Steve Carell, Bradley Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael Keaton y Eddie Redmayne, y las actrices Marion Cotillard, Felicity Jones, Julianne Moore, Rosamund Pike y Reese Witherspoon.
El actor Chris Pine, los directores J.J. Abrams y Alfonso Cuarón, y la presidenta de la Academia, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, han sido los encargados de desvelar este jueves la lista de candidatos a las estatuillas que se entregarán el próximo 22 de febrero. El anuncio se ha llevado a cabo este mediodía (5:30 de la madrugada hora local ) en el Teatro Samuel Goldwyn de Beverly Hills.
